What is Natural Surf Lodge?

For over 20 years, Claire and Stéphane Becret are happy to share their life style linked to their bond to surfing and being by the ocean. It is from this common enthusiasm that the Natural Surf Lodge was born. Small guest house at the beginning, the project has evolved to welcome surfers of all ages, levels and horizons. Located in the heart of the Landes, in a verdant nest, the Natural Surf Lodge is the opportunity to live a sporty, human and authentic experience in a haven of peace close to the ocean.

Two types of surf camps : adults and teenagers

ADULT SURF CAMPS — all levels, April to November

Nestled in the heart of nature in a protected nature reserve near Hossegor, the Lodge is the historic formula offering a unique surfing experience in the shade of the hundred year old oaks of the Airial (open space with trees in front of the Landes farms). Ideal to recover from intense surfing sessions or at a more relaxed pace: the choice is yours! The Lodge welcomes you from April to November in a peaceful setting, coming solo as a couple, with friends or in family depending on holidays periods.

    TEEN SURF CAMPS — ages 12 to 20, school holidays

    A week's surfing vacation for teenagers, aged from 13 to 17y/o, to discover or improve their surfing skills on the mythical spots of Seignosse and Hossegor ! Like a camp but in a more intimate and sporty atmosphere.
    The surf camp is an opportunity for young people to gain independence in a safe environment, over watched 24/24 by our professional and sympathetic surf team, away from the sometimes to precious attention of their parents,

    Teen Surf Camps take place during Winter, Easter, Summer and October vacations.

The Villa operates for special surf retreats and in August and September months.  It is also suitable for a group of 14 to 16 people interested in surfing (lessons and surf equipment)

      Our labels and accreditations

      Natural Surf Lodge holds the "Destination d'Excellence" label awarded by Atout France — France's national tourism development agency — since 2013. It is rated on TripAdvisor and Google, and listed by the tourist offices of Seignosse and Hossegor and by the Landes Departmental Tourism Committee. Natural Surf School is a member of the French Surf Federation (FFS) and certified by the École Française de Surf (EFS). All instructors hold a French state diploma in surf instruction.

      I can only recommend the Natural Surf Lodge to anyone looking for relaxing/beautiful nature, great surf spots nearby & very warm/friendly atmosphere with super nice & experienced staff. The surf camp has it all: beautiful garden, jacuzzi, skate bowl, pool table, piano/guitare.., yet it still feels like home. This is definitely my favorite surf camp in France.

      Great place to disconnect while surfing and practicing yoga. No matter if you travel by yourself, with friends or family, you will feel like home. All the facilities are perfectly taken care of, totally in respect with the environment. You will find the lodge in a relax area 15 minutes by car from the ocean.
