Colo Surf Ados 13-17 ans — Pâques, Toussaint & Février, Landes
Natural Surf Lodge's school-holiday Teen Surf Camp is a one-week residential surf camp for teenagers aged 13 to 17, run during the French Easter, October (All Saints') and February school holidays near Seignosse and Hossegor, on the Landes coast of south-west France.
Each week runs from Sunday evening to Saturday morning, full board, with 24/7 supervision by a qualified team. Surf lessons (one or two a day depending on conditions) are taught by Natural Surf School, accredited by the École Française de Surf (EFS), the French Surfing Federation's quality label, at Plage des Casernes in Seignosse, with a maximum of 8 teens per instructor.
Depending on the dates, teens stay at the Lodge in Soustons (280 chemin de Bathurt, 40140) or at Villa Baïna in Seignosse (8 avenue de la Marquèze, 40510). A free shuttle runs from Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse train station. Contact: info@naturalsurflodge.com / +33 6 74 16 02 28.
Three holiday weeks to choose from
Easter Surf Camp — ages 13-17
A week during the spring holidays, staying at the Lodge in Soustons or at Villa Baïna in Seignosse depending on the year. Spring often brings regular swell and empty beaches. All levels welcome, groups of 8 max.
October Surf Camp — ages 13-17
A week during the French autumn holidays (All Saints'), staying at the Lodge in Soustons. Autumn is a favourite time for local surfers: golden light, a sea that is still mild, and uncrowded spots. All levels welcome, groups of 8 max.
February Winter Camp — ages 13-17
A week during the winter holidays, led by Indhy and based at Villa Baïna in Seignosse. This one is for motivated teens who want to keep surfing through the winter. The water is cold (around 12°C), the groups are very small, and the line-ups are quiet.
What's included
The Surfing Program
- 5 surf lessons, each lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, led by a BPJEPS-certified instructor
- Surf groups organized by skill level and age
- All surfing equipment (wetsuit and board) is available throughout the week (both during and outside of lessons)
- Independent surfing if conditions are good (under the supervision of an instructor)
- A 1-hour theory session covering how the ocean and waves work, as well as surf culture
- 1 photo session
- Store your cell phones in the Freebox for a gentle digital detox

A stay is also about learning to live in a community and reaching out to others. We strive to encourage interaction among the teens and tap into their creativity throughout their stay.

Why go surfing in the Landes during the off-season?
Outside of July and August, the beaches at Seignosse and Hossegor often offer better conditions than in the summer: more consistent and powerful swells, more favorable winds, and less crowded spots. Instructors can devote more time to each student. The group bond is stronger. And the teens come back having made real progress—not just with vacation memories.
A week of surfing surrounded by nature during the February break
The Winter Surf Camp is for teens ages 13 to 17 who are looking to improve their skills and performance. This surf camp is led by Indhy Paya, an instructor at Natural Surf Lodge. The focus is on coaching that provides surfers with visual feedback on their technique, the local lifestyle, and the responsible use of digital technology. Intermediate to advanced level.

- Photo and video materials for debriefings on-site and indoors + a progress report provided at the end of the camp.

- Raise awareness about respecting the ocean.
- Stay at Villa Baïna: a fully equipped home (spacious open-concept living room/kitchen/dining area with a fireplace).
- Full board with a thoughtful approach to food selection: no sodas, no processed foods, meals prepared by selected local restaurants, organic breakfast, snacks featuring fruit and homemade cakes...
- Transportation via a 9-seat minibus: round-trip service between the Villa and the Saint Vincent de Tyrosse train station for departures and arrivals, as well as all other round-trip transportation between the Villa, the ocean, or any other scheduled destination
