There is nothing as frustrating as not being understood by others. So, come and loosen your tongues with us !
During the surf lessons, Claire and Stephan will teach you in french, their native language : you will know by the end of the week what "rame, rame...." or "Allez, allez...." means !
At the Natural Surf Lodge "Surf fuel ateliers" are organised daily.
They combine a fun and usefull approach of french language.
All your questions shall be answered and your worries shall disappear, as we will put you in different guided situations, such as buying your weekly shopping in the local supermarket, prepare a "menu du jour", order a round of drinks or converse in the SPA with your new surf mates, en français, bien sûr !
Local french people will also participate and "frenchise" the ambiance.
We accept everybody, all ages, shapes and sizes, so there is no excuse, come and join our english/french conversation classes !
Surf & learn french
5 x 1h30 surf lessons from monday to Friday.
Surfing tuitions by qualified and experienced surf teacher.
Individual surfing insurance provided by the french surfing federation.
Boards and wetsuit at disposal for the week.
Daily french/english conversation classe (1h30) : living approach of the language through everyday situations (shopping local products, grammar/vocabulary FAQ, apéritif in Hossegor…)
No frustration and laughs guaranteed : exprimez-vous !
6 nights in 1 to 4 pers. shared room with private bathroom. Ask for private bungalove if you are a couple.
6 organic continental breakfasts.
Tuesday and thursday dinners included (french cuisine atelier).
The other meals are self-catered at the Lodge.
Vegetarian meals and local restaurant menu on request.
Evenings « à la carte » : karaoké, pool tournament, BBQ on the beach or at the Lodge.
Free access to Lodge amenities and equipments :
- 33°C hydro-massage pool and steam room (mondays and fridays)
- mountain bikes, canoes, open air games (badminton, trampoline or
chill out in the hammocks, BBQ…)
- pool table, surfing and DVD library in the communal room
- WIFI
Transfers from/to Biarritz airport or St Vincent de Tyrosse train station, transport to surf spots, Hossegor down town, factory outlets….
If you come by car please advise us so we can provide the right quote.
Extras : Oxbow beach bag offered and a set of pics to engrave your
best surf moves.

Surf & Chat weeks require a minimum of 3 participants
If you require transfers, we will ask for 50 euros extra fee one way if the pick up or drop off is earlier than 9 am or later than 7 pm.
